The Honeymoon

I have been waiting all of my life for this perfect moment with you,

longing and searching so far and wide....if only a way that you knew.

Now I have met you.. known you and fallen so deeply for you my dear,

as my doubts and fears have fallen away and I am holding you near.

The moment has been played out in my mind over and over....again,

but doubts seemed to linger as I wondered if the good guy really wins.

But here we are in our perfectly secluded and exotic honeymoon nest,

watching the sunset...gathering our thoughts of marriage at its best.

We've waited and I know in our hearts believe that our journeys begun,

as tonight is the time that we shed our independence... becoming one.

I can feel your warmth as we are sharing this beautiful sunset together,

and dear always remember my vows today said that I said its forever.

Holding you and caressing and smiling and thing that lovers can do,

needs to be always refreshed and treated special as if always brand new.

You're the treasure of my heart that's guarded with impenetrable stone,

and from this day onward I promise to nurture it an sharpen and hone.

The good times are waiting and maybe some bad ones will creep on in,

but fret not my dear because I know that the Love always surely wins.

The sun is now set and I take you in my arms to carry you to our place,

and privacy is ours as our little world opens and leaves behind no trace.

Losing ourselves in our special moment thats been awaiting for awhile,

we have struggled but made it to this moment without being defiled.

Hold me as I hold you and let us enjoy the Lovers moments that be,

I know that I am in heaven and feeling what its like..... to be free.

Waking each up day and knowing the very first thing I will see is you,
